thank you to everyone who has written and called concerned about the fires raging near us. although we have ash raining down + can smell the smoke, the flames are pretty far from us...at least for now. on the other hand, dozens of my clients at shadedbox haven't been so lucky. we've done a great deal of work with a few game companies in san diego where most of them were evacuated or actually lost their house.it's never a dull moment in southern california.
my hats off to the firefighters who have worked non-stop trying to save as much as they can. true heroes.

Don't gas it up around an open flame. You made get added to the list of arsonists.
