ave in the ER

we had a bit of a scare 2 nights ago. ave had thrown up about a dozen times in the course of 6 hours. she was beginning to look lethargic and dehydrated so we took her to the ER. six hours later everyone was back home and she's doing better now. the day before she diagnosed with a major ear infection and conjunctivitis, so that didn't help either.the docs think it was either the virus jasper had the day before as well, or the antibiotics she was on for the ear infection. fun times!

old town pasadena has a pretty cool art installation at the moment. basically, the courtyard's trees are tied with thousands of wish cards filled out by passersby. jasper wrote an eloquent plea of peace, prosperity, and unification for the next president of the US, while i wrote what i want for christmas.
