update
Sorry for the delay in getting an update. We're nearly 3 weeks from the surgery and everything is looking the way it should. The eye is still a little swollen but the itching has left and it's not painful. The eye pressure has actually gone the opposite direction now as it's a little lower than it should. However the doc is not too concerned at the moment. He's now free to run around a bit, which he interprets as he's free to taunt his sister again.

Update: good doc appointment!
Another good doc appointment. Another check up scheduled for next week. Medicine prescription reduced since the eye pressure checked out great- which is a big reason for the surgery. Jasper even said the light was bright in the eye.

Post op appointment
Doc took a peek and says no surprises and everything looks the way it should. Jasper is in a bit of pain and the eye is itchy. He received a few drops and ointments to try and reduce the pain. With the patch off, he has to be careful not to touch or itch it. At night, he'll have to wear a patch to prevent any inadvertent scratches. We have another follow up on Tuesday. All good news.

Update
Spoke to the doc: all went as planned. Transplant went smoothly. He also installed a tube shunt to reduce the eye pressure and cleaned out the virtuous fluid inside the eye. All very sci-fi. All very good news. He's still in recovery for another 30 min or so.
Big day today
It's 6am. We're at the hospital for jasper to undergo a cornea transplant. Jasper is alleviating the stress by playing Star Wars.
