we found palm springs to be a great little sleepy town nestled in the desert away from the hussle of LA.

mara needed to meet some clients out in palm springs, so we made a small weekend trip out of it. we got lucky enough to watch the sun go down on one our pit stops.

hehe, sorry guys. when we saw this pict, we couldn't reist doing a little "photoshop magic"to play a joke. i think we may have waited a little too long to fess up! jasper isn't standing by himself just yet...

more conclusive evidence

i've instructed my crack team of detectives (my dad) to scour the jones archives for more evidence of my brother ben + i's child labor. my father, er... lead detective, has uncovered a teasure trove of unclassified photos documenting, once more, the harsh conditions that my brother and i were forced to endure as youths. to the left, one can distinctly see Ben scream out in pain as he manages to muster enough strength to lift one more piece of wood. one may ask..where is your sister jessica while ben + you risked frost bite, sickness, + maybe even your lives?
the amount of tracks we made each trip is proof enough of our sacrifice. each trip back and forth seemed to take that much more off our youthful innocence.

viewing this picture as a grown adult, a swarm of lost memories i had managed to push back into the recceses of my mind, came flooding back like a feshly dumped quart of wood. i vividly now remember forcing my tierd + weak body to rest...just a few minutes....in hopes of regaining my strength. as my brother lie motionless next to me, i even wondered if we would make it back that day. the memory of the snow's bite on my numb red checks is now indeliable in my mind.

as ben continued on, with the use of his now famous walking stick, it gave me the strength and inspiration to push on. hours later, when the fall of day light was our instructions to end, i had to carry his cripled and mangled body inside. to our astonishment, jessica was also sighing a relief from a long working day...of organizing her barbie doll collection.

we were pretty stunned at the doc's office when jasper stood up for us all by himself!

in the end, grosser manned up!

grosser was hurting. one can see the anguish in his grimace. at one point, i could faintly hear a plead for his mother. i've taken the liberty of sparring you the amount of blood which oozed out of his thumb. disfigurement is always a concern when dealing with lacerations. hence, the utmost care was taken while the lesion was naked.

mara + i's place is not properly set up as a triage emergency room. however, these are the tools we implemented in dealing with grosser's injury. please note toothbrush, mouth wash, + my lense cap were not used.

fortunately for grosser, mara + i hung on to a can of vagina spray after jasper's birth. this spray, known as dermoplast, is applied to the "jj" immediately after birth to cool, numb, and sooth. in this case, grosser's thumb was temporarily numbed. mara gets the credit for the nicely re-applied wound dressing.

grosser cut his thumb while installing his room. ive documented the reapplication of the wound dressing for you. mara and kristen were visibly shaken by grosser's screams of pain as he removed his previous bandage.

jasper turned 6 months yesterday. we let him take a spin on his scooter since he doesnt have any teeth to knock out yet.
