dear friends sam + anjeli got some practice today watching us chase after jasper.

hospital again

mara + i were home from columbus for 2 hours when jasper woke up having much difficulty in breathing. the night before was rough and we had a hunch he was getting sick...just not this sick. we rushed him to the ER arriving around 9pm. they rushed us inside the ER but by 3am, we were admitted to the hospital and 5am we put our heads down to sleep on the sofas.



these pics were taken the next day after a steriod shot, breathing medicine, and a nice long nap.

mara + i took jasper to some old favorite eateries we miss.

columbus

mara, jasper, + i just got back from columbus. i proposed to mara 10 years ago in Ives Hall, the school of architecture where i first laid eyes on her. sadly, Ives is no longer around + in place is this beauty.

huntington library

steve + paige's visit was not complete with a trip to the huntington library. this is a gem in pasadena we don't visit enough.

mr steve huegli came into town for the weekend + grilled some delectible fish outside on our balcony.
