happy mother's day!

mother's day comes only once a year, so it's only the best in town for mara today! we crusied on down to downtown LA to phillipe's, where we dined on roast beef sandwiches, steaming pancakes, + a special slice of carrot cake for the best mom in the county. better yet, the millers + the flaggs joined us!

never a dull moment in los angeles

raging fires are within a few minutes drive, police are a tad too rough sometimes, + an arrogant girl named for the city of lights finally gets her lights turn off for 45 days...all in my city!

it's dry as a bone here in LA. in fact, we are in eye sight of this, but jasper wanted to try on his new boots he got courtesy of aunt jessica for his birthday.
