we sat around the table and had a frank, pardon the pun, discussion with jasper about getting his first haircut. uncle frank suggest to play a game he calls "haircut roulette", in which the customer, or victim, has his hair cut at a different barber each time. never visiting the same barber twice, one can experience the adrenline rush and the thrill of a nicely trimmed hairdo or a horrible accident...both just a snip away.
jasper liked this idea, but his mother nixed it.
uncle frank complained of minor irritation and swelling in one of his thumbs. i'll let you be the judge. mara sprung to action, reminiscent of our experience with grosser, and busted out the first aid kit. get well soon uncle frank. hehe
jasper is feeling much, much better today (regardless of his hand gestures). thank you for all your prayers and help over the past week. i think mara deserves a gold star for her sacrifice!
jasper caught a very nasty stomach flu for the past three days. after all the vomiting, diarrhea, + crying, we were worried he was getting severely dehydrated so we took him to the hospital today. he's back at home but not feeling much better. i was able to take these few shots during the brief times he was not wailing + crying in the 6 hours we were there.
it had just rained outside + the sun began to pop out. so i ran + got my camera to grab the nice lighting.
dinner. both are newly weds + boy, are they in love. it was a great time chatting about the joys of the first year of marriage, babies, + good times ahead...but way too much PDA.
